Dibba Oman

Almarsa Musandam

During my short trip to Dibba Oman, I dived with Almarsa Musandam on a Liveaboard for 3 days. My favorite thing about the trip was that it was a really small group. There was only 4 divers in total with 2 dive guides, it might be due to the period when I went, as it was during the Ramandan period. They had a very friendly crew and even though there was only 4 divers, the boat was pretty huge. This gave the divers lots of space on the boat for you to dry your equipments while heading back to shore. The dive sites in Oman were beautiful, there were an abundant amount of marine life, the most common fish I saw there was the Redtoothed triggerfish.

More about Dibba Oman

Dibba Oman is a very quiet town perfect for a quiet getaway and enjoy the beautiful small town.

Not sure if it was because I went to Dibba Oman during the ramandan period or the city is always these quiet. There was almost no one on the streets when I was leaving and entering Oman, there were minimal cars and I did not see anyone on the streets or any activities going on in buildings. If you are travelling into Dibba Oman by car please do take note that there are 2 entry points like how Singapore has the first and second link into Malaysia. However, you can only depart from the same point where you entered [This is what I experienced]. Also, for people who are travelling my car (Land custom), you are not allowed to bring ANY alcohol in, but, different rules are applicable if you are entering Oman by flight.
